About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Mitigation Specialist to join our client's team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to emergency property damage situations, assessing the damage, and taking steps to mitigate further loss. You will also work closely with our client's crews to ensure that the restoration process is completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls for property damage mitigation
Assess the extent of damage caused by fire, water, mold, or other disasters
Implement mitigation procedures to prevent further damage, such as water extraction, content removal, and board-up services
Document the damage and mitigation actions taken
Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and insurance companies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in property restoration or a related field
Experience with mitigation procedures for fire, water, and mold damage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
