Area Sales Manager - Materials Handling Equipment

Basic salary to £52,000, OTE £70,000 (Uncapped) + Car/Allowance, Pension, Private Health Insurance, Benefits etc

Our client is a global manufacturer of loading dock equipment.. A genuine market leader, selling industry leading, premium quality equipment and solutions, they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to join their highly successful team.

Responsible for generating revenue for the business via both self generated new business opportunities and via existing account growth, the role offers the opportunity to join a well established, highly reputable business.

What's Required:

• Experience gained in a similar, new business Area Sales Manager role.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience gained selling capital equipment to the warehousing and distribution sector. i.e. materials handling equipment (forklift trucks), waste compators/bailers etc.
• Exposure to selling a premium proposition with product and service quality being the driver rather than price.
• The drive, dynamism and resilience required to be effective in a competitive sector.
