Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new SMB prospects and clients in the South Bay San Diego, CA area.
- Generate new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities.
- Schedule and meet with SMB owners/IT managers.
- Promote Wyyerd FIBER's positive reputation and brand image in the marketplace.
- Have a good understanding of telecommunication connectivity, phone VOIP services, data-use cases, telecom billing, and the competitive landscape.
- Cultivate relationships with owners, IT managers, community leaders and business associations in the area.
- Participate in community events and activities as a company representative.
- Actively coordinate with the SMB & Executive sales team to perform sales tasks.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
Experience/Qualifications
- Three to five years of direct sales experience, preferably in telecommunication sales and SMB sales or client management.
- Proven sales experience and success.
- Familiar with customer record systems, processes and practices.
- Highly organized and communicative with colleagues and leaders.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Preference given to individuals living in close proximity to our office.
