Job description
We’re on a mission to revolutionize agriculture by enabling on-farm nitrogen production for modern growers. Our
technology-driven, sustainability-focused company blends craftsmanship with lean
manufacturing to build systems that perform reliably and at scale. We’re seeking
an Operations Manager who is driven by improvement, production systems, and
lean principles to help our operations excel.
Role Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee daily production, manage schedules and
materials, and support the team in meeting output and quality goals. This role
requires a hands-on leader who enjoys solving operational problems and building
systems that work — and then making them better.
What You’ll Do
• Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate materials, labor and equipment to meet targets.
• Track production performance and report to leadership.
• Work with vendors to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Lead and coach production staff — set expectations, give feedback, and
build a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment.
• Identify process issues and lead efforts to improve flow, reduce waste and
stabilize operations.
What You Bring
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment,
including supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methods (e.g., 5S, standard
work, Kaizen).
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and production-tracking tools; data-driven
and metrics-oriented.
• Strong communicator and problem solver.
• Hands-on, dependable and motivated to build systems that scale.
Success Looks Like
• Production stays on schedule and meets or exceeds targets.
• Materials are available when needed with minimal disruption.
• Quality and safety standards are consistently met.
• The team understands what to do and why — and executes reliably.
• Processes become smoother, more predictable, and less reactive.
Perks & Benefits
• Competitive salary (based on experience).
• Health and dental insurance.
• Paid time off (vacation, sick).
• Professional development support (training in lean, leadership, systems
improvement).
• A collaborative, growth-oriented team where your work directly impacts the
company’s success.
Benefits:
• Dental insurance
• Health insurance
• Paid time off
