Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Line Electrician to install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components on an assembly line. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment is built to specification, operates safely, and meets quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, wire, and assemble electrical components, control panels, and systems according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

  • Perform electrical testing, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality

  • Identify and correct wiring issues, component failures, or assembly defects

  • Follow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and company quality standards

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other assembly team members to resolve technical issues

  • Document work performed, including test results and any required modifications

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area

  • Support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process or efficiency improvements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred

  • Proven experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or assembly line environment

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and industrial controls

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and electrical safety standards

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PLCs, control panels, or automation systems

  • Troubleshooting experience in a production or industrial setting

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production floor

  • May require standing, bending, lifting, and working around moving equipment

  • Use of PPE as required
