Associate Attorney, Family Law
Fully Remote in Washington | $120,000 + Uncapped Bonus ($200K+ Possible) | Full-Time
Practice family law with a real team behind you.
Picture this: your calendar, your filings, and your billing are already handled. Most family lawyers spend their days chasing deadlines and paperwork. Here, you won't. You'll have experienced paralegals on your cases, a legal assistant who runs calendaring and filing for the whole team, and an operations staff that keeps billing and systems moving. Your time goes where it belongs: to your clients and into the courtroom. How much of it you give beyond the minimum is up to you.
Our clients come to us during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We're looking for a skilled advocate and a steady, compassionate guide who wants to own a caseload and see every matter through to resolution.
AT A GLANCE
• 25 billed hours a week minimum—leaves room for a life
• $200K+ total pay potential at ~36 billed hours a week
• 0 commute, except to court
• 100% family law—it's all we do
WHY ATTORNEYS CHOOSE US
-
A real support team: You work with experienced paralegals who also handle calendaring and filing and an operations team that runs billing and systems.
-
Learn from veterans: Work directly with experienced Washington family law attorneys who have successfully led and grown the firm for years.
-
A bonus you can see coming: No cap, paid quarterly based on hours billed (not collected). Stay near 25 hours to keep your evenings, or put in more and watch your pay climb past $200,000 at ~36 billed hours a week. Time off lowers your minimum so it never counts against you.
-
Remote, with a real schedule: Work from home, not from a traffic jam. Pick your core hours (7:00–4:00, 7:30–4:30, or 8:00–5:00 Pacific).
-
Paid for the work you do: Your bonus is based on hours billed, not client collections. Collections are our job, not yours.
-
A firm on the way up: As the firm expands, so does room for growth, leadership, and added responsibility.

- Build case strategy, evaluate settlement options, and negotiate with opposing counsel and pro se parties.
- Be the go-to contact for your clients, keeping them informed, prepared, and supported.
- Track your time in Clio and help shape where the firm goes next.
WHAT YOU BRING
- J.D. and an active WSBA license in good standing.
- Litigation experience: 1+ years in family law, or 4+ years of general litigation.
- Confident courtroom presence and sharp legal writing.
- The self-direction and organization to thrive in a remote setting.
- Genuine empathy and the ability to deliver hard news clearly and kindly.
