ZeroV is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist for its Finance team. This position is classified as a Sr.
Program Specialist position.
ZeroV is the state coalition whose mission is to abolish the social conditions and systems that spark,
enable, and amplify intimate partner violence and to create communities where all Kentuckians can live
and thrive in safety and peace.
Responsibilities:
Process transactions related to our housing program.
Process, review, and assist with maintaining all grant required documentation.
Setup new vendors in QuickBooks, collect and maintain necessary documents for vendors.
Maintain vendor and customer files in compliance with organization document retention
policy.
Work closely with Housing Team to ensure compliance and accuracy of information.
Assist with preparation for annual audit and grant monitoring.
Qualifications:
High level of experience with Word and Excel.
Proficient working on a Mac and utilizing video conferencing (Zoom and Teams).
Experience working in QuickBooks and/or other similar accounting software.
Basic understanding of grant budgets and rules around allowable expenses.
Have a deep commitment to ending gender-based violence, as well as other forms of
intersecting oppressions including racism, classism, and ableism.
Be self-motivated, resourceful, creative, and able to work well in a team driven
environment.
Salary:
Salary for this position is $60,000 plus a generous benefit package.
Sr. Program Specialist will be required to attend. Training provided and meetings attended will be a mix of
virtual and in-person across KY.
