Behind every successful project is a highly organized, responsive, and technically capable inside team ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

As the Inside Sales Representative, you are the operational backbone of the division. You work closely with the Division Manager and outside sales team to manage tenders, prepare quotations, coordinate documentation, and support customers with accuracy and urgency. You are the connector between opportunity and execution.

From monitoring bid platforms and completing take-offs to preparing final quotes and managing assigned projects through completion, you bring structure and accountability to every stage of the sales cycle. You handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism, assist walk-in customers when needed, and collaborate across divisions to ensure complete and accurate project pricing.

This is a role for someone who thrives on organization, takes initiative to learn, and enjoys being a critical part of a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

As the Inside Sales Representative, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:

1. Sales & Quotation Support

  • Prepare pricing and complete take-offs for bid & spec projects, design-build projects, and smaller customer requests.
  • Generate and review final quotes with the Division Manager and/or assigned outside sales team prior to submission.
  • Produce full equipment submittal packages for assigned projects.
  • Ensure all materials are properly accounted for by collaborating with other divisions to avoid overlap.

2. Project Coordination & Management

  • Monitor Construction Association of Saskatchewan (CASK) projects, identify relevant tenders, and enter project information into our ERP System.
  • Ensure take-offs are completed and deadlines are met.
  • Project manage assigned jobs in coordination with the Division Manager and sales team.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project records throughout the lifecycle of each opportunity.

3. Customer Service & Team Support

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer calls and emails.
  • Provide support to outside sales representatives both in and out of the office.
  • Assist walk-in and cash customers as required.
  • Participate in divisional meetings, office meetings, and customer events such as open houses, sporting events, and client appreciation functions.

4. Continuous Learning & Development

  • Proactively self-educate by reading technical materials and asking questions.
  • Attend supplier-supported training sessions, either in-house or at supplier facilities (occasional limited travel may be required).
  • Continuously build product knowledge and technical confidence to better support customers and the sales team.

  • Positive attitude with exemplary attendance and reliability.
