This small and trusted team is there from concept to construction, from custom design, blueprint production and 3D visualizations to permit-ready construction drawings. With a rapidly growing portfolio and newly expanded space, they’re looking to bring on a technically skilled, Revit-savvy technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.

 

The Opportunity

Working collaboratively with a small design-forward team, you will work on projects ranging from brand-new custom home designs to modifying existing builder plans. Watching your work come to life, your focus will be on turning client vision into detail, as you transform concepts into fully developed drawing sets ready for permit submission and construction. You’ll work alongside designers and engineers, ensuring every element complies with building codes, zoning bylaws and most importantly, client expectations. Key Responsibilities

As the Architectural Technologist, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:

1. Design & Drafting Support

  • Develop and modify residential floor plans and refine existing layouts to meet builder and client specifications.
  • Translate design concepts into construction-ready drawings suitable for permitting and builds.
  • Use Revit to maintain consistent drawing standards across projects, ensuring clarity, quality, and visual coherence.

2. Project Execution & Coordination

  • Manage multiple drafting projects, prioritizing work based on deadlines and project stage, while balancing quality and speed.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers and team members to incorporate structural and design feedback.
  • Track revisions and updates across project phases, ensuring alignment with project goals.

3. Compliance & Code Awareness

  • Ensure all drawing packages meet building codes, local codes, zoning regulations as they relate to residential design.
  • Stay informed on changes to provincial codes, zoning bylaws and industry best practices to maintain technical relevance.

 

Qualifications

As the of Architectural Technologist, you will bring:

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or something similar.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within residential architecture or custom home design.
  • Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of residential construction and Saskatchewan building practices, commercial knowledge considered an asset.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and receptive to direction, with a genuine care for producing excellent work.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines.
