THE OPPORTUNITY

As Autobody and Service Division Manager you are an integral piece in a forward-thinking company. Utilizing your strong business acumen, you are in a role that offers the chance to influence the business strategy through oversight of direct operations of two establishments. With your ability to not only meet the demands of daily operations but anticipate future initiatives and opportunities, you will directly contribute to the strategic growth. Responsible for steering both establishments towards operational success and profitability, you are guided by a vision for growth and upholding the standards of quality, safety and client-focused service.


KEY RESPONSBILILTIES

As the Autobody and Service Division Manager you will work safely and collaboratively and are responsible for:

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily operations of both businesses to ensure high standards of service quality and efficiency.
  • Develop, review and analyze projections for both short-term and long-term goals that align with the company’s strategic objectives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Communicate with the Management Team on status of major activities and projects.
  • Directly report to the General Manager of the overarching organization and ensure alignment with their goals and strategies.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline business processes and ensure consistency across all operations.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with safety guidelines to uphold workplace and customer safety to promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  • Identify new business opportunities including networking events and community engagement opportunities.

Financial & Strategic Management:

  • Manage budgeting and financial planning to maximize returns, ensure optimal use of funds in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance against plans and utilize financial data and insight for strategic decision-making.
  • Uphold adherence to the company’s financial policies across all staff levels.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage a team of employees across multiple locations while ensuring a positive work culture aligned with the company’s core values.
  • Recruit, train, schedule and develop staff to create high-performing teams and conduct regular performance evaluations with constructive feedback.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indications (KPIs) for both businesses.
  • Lead by example as an inspiring motivator setting high standards in personal and professional conduct that demonstrates a commitment to the company’s core values of honesty, transparency and initiative.

Supplier Relations:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, working together to achieve mutually beneficial standards and practices.
  • Build relationships with external suppliers and vendors to ensure positive reputation in the business community.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction by developing and implementing initiatives to elevate the overall customer journey.
  • Formulate strategies that boost customer satisfaction levels and strengthen loyalty.
  • Develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Address customer issues promptly and effectively, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction.


QUALIFICATIONS

As the Autobody and Service Division Manager you will bring:

  • Post-secondary education in operations, business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in management, auto service and/or auto body industry considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of successful financial and operational management.
  • A motivational leader who is committed to excellence with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills working in a diverse work environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead change, drive performance and develop a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Valid drivers license with the willingness to travel as needed between locations.
