The Opportunity

As a Renovations Apprentice, every day is a chance to grow. You’ll rotate through tasks like framing, drywalling, tiling, and cabinetry installation, all while supporting seasoned carpenters and coordinators. Forget sitting still, one moment you’re unloading tools and materials, the next you are learning how to hang dry wall or cut tile. You’ll spend the day alongside experienced tradespeople, learning the tricks of the trade while keeping the job site safe, tidy, and efficient. By the time you pack up for the day, you’ll know you’ve had a hand in creating something lasting and beautiful.


With the right drive and dedication, you’ll have the opportunity to grow into a Journeyperson Carpenter or Senior Technician role, building a rewarding future in renovations.

 

Key Responsibilities

As the Residential Renovation Apprentice, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:

  • Assist with all aspects of renovations including demolition, framing, drywall, tiling, cabinetry, and finishing work. 
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and supplies at job sites.
  • Support Lead Carpenters and Project Coordinators with day-to-day tasks. 
  • Use company software to clock in/out, review job details, and update progress. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
  • Communicate respectfully with customers, teammates, and supervisors.
  • Adhere to company’s’ safety protocols and work standards at all times.


Qualifications

As the Residential Renovation Apprentice, you will bring:

  • Minimum1–3 years of experience in residential renovations, carpentry, or construction.
  • Experience with hand and power tools and safe work practices.
  • A strong interest in learning kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
  • Positive, professional attitude with an eagerness to grow your skills.
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and handle the demands of construction work.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
