The Opportunity  

As Project Manager, you will lead initiatives that not only meet client expectations but also elevate industry benchmarks for safety, quality and innovation. You will find yourself at the centre of some of Canada’s most dynamic industrial projects turning vision into reality. From design and permitting to procurement, construction, and reporting, you ensure every detail is managed with discipline and care. 

You will set the pace for your teams, guide critical decisions, and anticipate risks before they arise. Your influence will extend beyond the project site, shaping client confidence, advancing partnerships, and inspiring the next generation of construction leaders. 

Key Responsibilities  

As Project Manager, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for: 

• Lead day-to-day activities including design, permitting, procurement, contract administration, and reporting.  
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets.  
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals and timelines.  
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.  
• Conduct inspections, audits, and proactive risk management to minimize disruptions.  
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, providing progress updates and addressing issues.  
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.  
• Lead and motivate project teams, delegating tasks effectively.  
• Mentor and support staff development while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.  

Qualifications  

As Project Manager, you will possess the following qualities: 

The Essentials (Hard Skills): 

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in industrial construction, with at least 5 years in a project management role. 
• Degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a Journeyperson trades certification (or equivalent technical background). 
• Proven track record managing large-scale industrial projects; mining sector experience considered an asset. 
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, mathematics, and estimating principles. 
• Ability to anticipate risks and implement effective risk management strategies.

• Skilled in conflict management, negotiation, and labour relations.
