Role: National Product Specialist

Location: Saskatchewan preferred, remote with 60% travel across Western Canada

The Opportunity

As the go-to expert on self-propelled sprayers, you are the first point of contact for both customers and dealers, providing support with product knowledge, in-field support and technical performance. You’ll be out visiting farms, providing support to dealers and ensuring every machine performs to its full potential. You will bridge product development and end-user experience leveraging your technical knowledge, field presence and your passion for agriculture.


In this national role, you can expect meaningful travel across Saskatchewan, into Alberta, Manitoba and sometimes Ontario to ensure the brand lives up to its reputation. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own travel schedule and service priorities, based on customer and dealer needs.


Key Responsibilities

As the National Product Specialist, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:

Technical Field Support

  • Serve at the primary technical expert for self-propelled sprayers, for both customers and dealers across Canada. You’ll be the go-to person on the ground, while closely collaborating with the Netherlands-based R&D and support teams.
  • Conduct training sessions, machine demonstrations, and in-field performance checks, ensuring operators and dealer teams are fully equipped to get the most out of their equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues on-site or remotely.
  • Provide insights on machine performance and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.

Dealer & Customer Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with dealers and end-users through regular site visits, field days and customer support touchpoints.
  • Support dealers to enhance product positioning and support their sales efforts, helping them deliver a premium customer experience that matches the company’s brand.
  • Act as the primary Canadian contact for parts, service inquiries and technical support, liaising with global support when needed.
  • Gather and provide feedback on competitor products, field performance and market trends to help support strategic decision-making.

Product Liaison & Internal Collaboration

  • Maintain regular communication with the Netherlands-based Canadian Market Lead, providing updates on field activity, product feedback, and customer insights.
  • Work closely with global R&D and product teams, sharing market trends, client needs, and product feedback to shape product iterations.
  • Liaise with the Customer Experience Specialist to share knowledge and divide areas of responsibility to ensure proper support coverage.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with Canadian leadership and global HR teams.

 

Qualifications

As the National Product Specialist, you will bring:

  • A degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in agricultural equipment or machinery support, sprayer experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience gathering field data, documenting service issues, and supporting equipment lifecycle planning.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in-field and over the phone.
  • Confident and approachable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and manage relationships with dealers, farmers, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently while staying aligned with larger team objectives.
  • Naturally curious and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving instincts and emotional intelligence.
  • Clear and professional communicator with the ability to convey technical concepts into clear, accessible language for any audience.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract, comfortable with regular provincial travel (60%).
