Family Practice Physician

Location: Northeast Oklahoma

• Community Impact: Provide essential healthcare to a rural community in need, offering accessible care to eligible beneficiaries in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
• Manageable Patient Load: Average of 12-16 patients per day allows for quality, focused care.
• Team Support: Collaborate with a dedicated team of 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who are ready to assist you in patient care and follow-up.
• Full-Spectrum Family Medicine: See patients of all ages and perform minor urgent care procedures, making every day varied and rewarding.
• Immediate Start Available: Begin as soon as credentialed, typically within 2-4 weeks, with a streamlined process accepting any state MD or DO license.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive history taking, physical exams, and diagnostics to provide personalized care.
• Perform and oversee a range of ambulatory surgical procedures based on skill set.
• Collaborate with specialists to ensure patients receive coordinated specialty care when needed.
• Document all care promptly and accurately in the health records, supporting a seamless patient experience.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement, medical education, peer reviews, and facility accreditation initiatives.
• Provide support and guidance to clinical staff; offer supervision in the absence of the Medical Director.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: MD or DO with a valid license in any U.S. state.
• Experience: Rural Public Health Experience Preferred
• DEA License: Current DEA license required.
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and experience with government EMR a plus
