Start Date: December

Schedule: 1 week in December and 2 weeks January onwards. Inpatient supervising stress tests, echos and consulting on the inpatient units Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p and call 4:30 p-8a for the week

Call Coverage: Currently 1:5 (4:30pm-8am); Average number of calls: 2-3 per night

Staff Mix: 4 MDs and 1 APP

EMR: E-Clinical Works (Clinic) & Meditech (Hospital)

Credentialing Timeframe: 8-12 weeks; Can request temps

Patient Demographics:

-Number of patients seen per day: Average 18-20 per MD

-Wait time to schedule new patient: 2-3 weeks

-Average new consults per week: 15-20/week per MD

-Average number of inpatients: 6-8 per given day

-Most common diagnoses: congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter, coronary artery disease conduction disorder of the heart

-New appointments: 30 per week/per MD

-Follow-up appointments: 48 per week/per MD

- Heart Failure (with preserved and reduced ejection fraction).

- Ischemic and Non ischemic Cardiomyopathies.

- Arrhythmias: Atrial fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Paroxysmal SVT.

- Conduction disorder of the heart, Pacemakers.

- Coronary Artery Disease.

- Valvular Heart Disease.

- Hyperlipidemia

- Primary Hypertension.

- Syncope

- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE's).

- DC Cardioversions.

- Stress Tests.
