Executive Director – Lead with Purpose at Rosewood Manor

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for senior care? Rosewood Manor, a respected not-for-profit care home, is seeking an Executive Director to guide our team in delivering exceptional intermediate and complex care to 151 residents.

For over 40 years, we’ve been a vital part of the community, providing 24/7 nursing care, recreation programs, and essential support services in a compassionate, home-like environment. Operated by the Richmond Intermediate Care Society and funded by the Ministry of Health, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care.


About You

As Executive Director, you will:

  • Leadership & Operations: Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure excellence in resident care and staff performance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain fiscal responsibility.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with health authority standards, licensing requirements, and best practices in long-term care.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive workplace culture, mentor staff, and support professional growth.
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare partners, the Board of Directors, and the broader community.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives that enhance the quality of care and organizational efficiency.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, long-term care, or non-profit management.
  • Education: A degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, and financial planning in a healthcare setting
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with long-term care standards, health authority policies, and Ministry of Health regulations
  • People-First Approach: Strong interpersonal skills to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and advocate for residents' well-being
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for improved senior care


Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $150,000 to $165,000.
  • Benefits Include: We offer a competitive benefits package including extended health care, dental plan, long term disability, group life insurance, accidental death and casualty, MSP 
  • Position type: Full-Time, Permanent On-Site
  • Location: 6260 Blundell Road, Richmond, BC, V7C 5C4
  • Vacations: Four weeks
