A Drilling Engineer is responsible for providing sound drilling engineering methods and procedures for assigned drilling problems. Key duties include optimizing drilling penetration rates, employing new drilling technologies, and conducting drilling studies. They offer technical support for various well types, including complex multi-lateral, extended reach, HPHT gas, offshore, deep water, and unconventional wells. The role involves analyzing drilling data, performing studies, preparing reports, and recommending modifications to improve unit costs and operational efficiency. Additionally, they develop technical proposals, coordinate with personnel and external organizations to resolve issues, assist in training new staff, and provide technical assistance on complex drilling problems.


What we are looking for

A) Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

B) minimum 10 years, such that incumbent is clearly recognized as a Senior drilling engineer in his field.

C) Willing to occasionally work in remote areas and overnighting in mobile camps.
