Responsibilities
● Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including regular check-ups, screenings, and counseling for pregnant women.
● Manage labor and delivery, ensuring safe and supportive childbirth experiences for mothers and infants.
● Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders, such as menstrual disorders, infertility, and menopausal symptoms.
● Perform surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.
● Conduct screenings and preventive care services, such as Pap smears, breast exams, and family planning counseling.
● Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception options, and preventive measures.
● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, oncologists, and urologists, to coordinate patient care as needed.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
● Stay informed about advances in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing medical education and participation in professional organizations.
Qualifications:
● Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
● Completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
