A leader construction company is looking for a Cost Director.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cost Director to oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, with a strong focus on cost control, financial planning, cash flow, process design, and operational oversight within the construction sector. This position is critical to ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all subsidiaries and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational and Project Finance Management:

• Oversee project cost accounting, invoicing, revenue recognition, and cash flow management.
• Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to ensure financial discipline in project execution.
• Manage investment and financing processes.

Cost Process Design and Optimization:

• Develop and implement efficient processes for cost allocation and control throughout all stages of construction.
• Implement standard cost control processes, ensuring that all involved departments follow best practices.
• Propose improvements to internal processes to reduce operating costs.

Financial Planning and Cash Flow Management:

• Develop and identify improvement opportunities related to strategic financial plans, ensuring that project objectives are aligned with the company's financial objectives.
• Monitor project-related cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity throughout each project phase.

Financial Risk Assessment

• Identify financial risks associated with construction costs.

Profile and Requirements:

● Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or financial management in the real estate, construction, or related industries.

● Proven experience in cost control, financial planning, and cash flow improvement processes.

● Strong knowledge of project accounting, process design, and cost control specific to the construction and real estate sectors.

● Proven experience with ERP systems and financial software.

● Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

● University degree in Accounting or Finance.

● Languages: Advanced English (B2 - C1) and a visa is required.

● Availability to travel at least once a month to operations abroad.
