Lean Six Search is delighted to be retained by a privately-owned CPG manufacturer based in California on their search for a new Director of IT. Reporting into the C-Suite you will lead the strategic development, implementation and management of all IT systems across the organization. This will have a strong focus on ERP Systems that support the finance, supply chain and quality operations. You will have needed to work in a manufacturing environment as a minimum and of course a CPG environment would be a bonus!

Key Responsibilities;

• Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports business goals, with emphasis on ERP optimization and integration across all departments.
• Partner with functional leaders in Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and R&D to ensure ERP workflows reflect business processes.
• Enhance the reporting and usage of new tools for ERP systems
• Drive data integrity, system security and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage IT budgets.
• Establish governance over data structure, reporting standards, and business intelligence tools connected to the ERP platform.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in a leadership role, including direct responsibility for ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success implementing, managing, or upgrading ERP systems.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, inventory control, quality, finance, and compliance modules within an ERP.
• Working knowledge of plant floor technologies and integration between ERP and MES or SCADA systems.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing workflows, data management, and business process optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience with reporting tools or data analytics platforms.
