General Description (Job Scope) • Provide strategic and tactical leadership for one or more major contract logistics sites, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and maximum efficiency.
• Serve as the primary executive contact for key customer accounts at the site level, driving continuous engagement, SLA adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the integration of modern warehouse technologies, including automation, robotics, and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), to future-proof operations.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture by driving robust talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives across large workforces, aligning with local manpower
guidelines.
Specific Accountabilities • Hold full P&L accountability for assigned facilities, aggressively managing cost drivers, resource allocation, and revenue optimization to meet or exceed budgetary targets.
• Lead and present at Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) with key clients to discuss performance metrics, value- creation initiatives, and commercial alignment.
• Champion Continuous Improvement (CIP) and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and drive productivity gains.
• Ensure absolute compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and
Health (WSH) regulations, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) standards, and corporate governance protocols.
Skills Required • Strong financial acumen with proven experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar operational budgets and P&Ls.
• Deep expertise in modern 3PL operations, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced inventory optimization techniques.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills, capable of handling complex customer demands and de- escalating critical issues.
• Proficiency in enterprise WMS (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan)
and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to drive data-led decision- making.
Experience and Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience in the 3PL/Contract Logistics industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior site leadership role, directly managing large headcounts (>100 staff) and highly complex, fast-
moving operations.
