Role Profile:
The Head of Procurement assumes overall responsibility for strategic sourcing and operational purchasing within a multi-site, service-driven organization operating in a regulated environment. The role combines commercial leadership with operational oversight, ensuring structured procurement processes, effective supplier management, and strong governance across a diverse portfolio of spend categories, including facilities-related services, professional services, and other operational requirements.
A central part of the mandate is the leadership and development of the procurement team. This includes strengthening structures and accountability, elevating performance standards, and ensuring procurement activities are aligned with business priorities and overarching corporate frameworks.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop the national procurement team, setting clear priorities, structures, and performance expectations.
- Oversee strategic sourcing and operational purchasing activities across a broad category portfolio.
- Define and execute sourcing approaches in close coordination with Group Procurement.
- Ensure structured procurement controlling, KPI monitoring, and budget oversight.
- Act as a senior business partner to operational and finance leadership.
