General Manager - Curaçao & Aruba


Job Purpose:

You will be responsible of leading our operations in Curaçao & Aruba, overseeing all aspects of our business operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of company goals. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record of success in managing diverse teams and delivering exceptional results.


Main Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization in Curaçao & Aruba.

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and growth targets.

• Oversee daily operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.

• Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and development.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.

• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on business performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements for Applying:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably within the Shipping, Transport or Logistics industries.

• Demonstrated experience in successfully managing relations with local authorities.

• Demonstrated success in leading and growing a business.

• Fluency in English. Spanish/French/Dutch as a second language is a plus.

• Strong understanding of the local market, regulations and business environment.
