Position Summary

We are looking for a Grocery Manager with experience in grocery, liquor, or related sectors to oversee daily store operations, manage the team, and ensure a high-quality shopping experience. Responsibilities:

• Lead and train the team: Coordinate, train, and motivate the sales, stock, and cashier teams to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to operational procedures.
• Inventory control: Ensure products are well-stocked and organized, and monitor stock rotation to prevent losses or expired products.
• Collaboration with Finance and Sales: Work Manage the budget and ensure operational and cost goals are met.
• Daily store operations: Oversee the smooth functioning of the supermarket, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and organization on the sales floor.
• Loss prevention: Implement effective loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and inventory shrinkage.
• Shift management: Organize staff schedules, including rotating and night shifts, ensuring proper coverage and operational efficiency.

Profile and requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing operations in supermarkets, liquor stores, grocery, or related sectors.
• Strong leadership skills, team management, and inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security management on the sales floor.
• Ability to work rotating and night shifts.
• Experience working with budgets and collaborating with finance and sales teams.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and POS systems is a plus.
