Global Head of Procurement



Job Purpose


The Global Head of Procurement is responsible for building and leading the procurement function across international markets, ensuring supply security, cost competitiveness, supplier reliability, and strong procurement governance.


The role is both strategic and hands-on, with responsibility for creating scalable sourcing processes, improving supplier partnerships, and supporting business growth across direct and indirect procurement categories.


Key Responsibilities


Procurement Strategy & Governance


Define and implement the global procurement strategy

Establish procurement policies, processes, governance, and approval flows

Create consistency, transparency, and control across procurement activities

Align procurement with supply chain, planning, production, finance, and market expansion priorities


Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management


Lead sourcing initiatives, tenders, supplier selection, and negotiations

Build strong supplier partnerships across global and regional markets

Implement supplier performance reviews, KPIs, and service-level expectations

Develop dual sourcing and risk mitigation plans for critical materials


Category Management


Build a category management framework across direct and indirect spend

Manage key direct categories including flavours, ingredients, concentrates, raw materials, and beverage-related inputs

Manage indirect categories including coolers, POS materials, logistics services, and other operational support categories

Drive spend visibility, supplier consolidation, and category-level cost optimisation


Cost Optimisation & Contracts


Deliver cost savings and COGS reduction

Improve payment terms and working capital where possible

Increase contract coverage across key suppliers and categories

Ensure contracts are formalised, tracked, renewed, and compliant with company standards


Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement


Improve procurement systems, tools, dashboards, and reporting

Build procurement KPIs covering savings, supplier performance, contract coverage, OTIF, and payment terms

Improve data visibility across spend, suppliers, contracts, risks, and savings

Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes

Requirements


8–10+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within FMCG, beverage, food, ingredients, or related industries

Experience building or improving procurement strategy across regional or international markets

Strong sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimisation experience

Experience across direct and indirect procurement categories

Exposure to flavours, ingredients, concentrates, raw materials, packaging, or beverage inputs is highly relevant

Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, hands-on environments

Strong analytical and commercial capability

Experience with ERP/procurement systems and reporting tools


Languages


Fluent English required

Russian is a strong advantage

Arabic or Turkish would be beneficial
