Head of Supply Chain – International Markets
About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international FMCG business as Head of Supply Chain – International Markets.
This role is responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain performance across global distributor-led and emerging markets, covering demand and supply planning, production allocation, logistics, and distributor coordination.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in connecting global supply capabilities with international commercial demand, ensuring strong service levels, operational discipline, and scalable supply chain processes across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Supply Chain Management
- Own demand and supply planning across international markets
- Consolidate demand forecasts from distributors and commercial teams
- Ensure product availability across multiple regions with varying demand patterns
- Balance inventory, service levels, and cost in fast-moving, low-structure environments
Supply & Production Coordination
- Allocate production volumes across global manufacturing and co-packing partners
- Optimize sourcing points based on cost, service, and lead times
- Manage complex multi-country and multi-origin supply flows
- Work closely with Procurement and Technical teams to ensure supply readiness
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage export logistics flows into international markets
- Optimize freight modes, routing, and lead times
- Build and manage relationships with 3PL providers and freight forwarders
- Ensure reliable and efficient shipment execution globally
Distributor & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary supply chain contact for international distributors
- Align on forecasts, ordering cycles, and service expectations
- Improve forecasting discipline and operational alignment across markets
- Support distributors in strengthening planning capabilities
Cost & Working Capital Optimization
- Optimize freight and landed costs across markets
- Manage inventory levels across supply chain nodes and in-market stock
- Reduce obsolete and slow-moving inventory risks
- Drive supply chain efficiencies that contribute to margin improvement
Governance & Process Improvement
- Implement global S&OP and planning standards
- Ensure adherence to planning cycles and reporting requirements
- Establish KPI tracking and performance visibility
- Drive operational discipline and continuous improvement initiatives
