Whether it’s a morning walk along The Strand, a weekend getaway to Magnetic Island, or a vibrant local café scene, Townsville offers the perfect balance between career opportunity and lifestyle freedom.

With ongoing growth and a strong project pipeline, our client is expanding their estimating team and seeking someone eager to learn, contribute, and develop within a supportive, hands-on environment.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing and formatting bid documents for EOIs and tenders, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
  • Gathering and organising key project information including scope, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
  • Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to collect accurate data and pricing.
  • Assisting with the drafting and editing of proposal content, including summaries, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinating with design and communications teams to incorporate visuals and graphics into tender submissions.
  • Maintaining document control for all tender materials and ensuring up-to-date distribution across teams.
  • Assisting with printing, binding, and electronic submission of bids.
  • Keeping estimating templates, libraries, and resources current and organised.
  • Providing administrative support to the estimating team and contributing new ideas to streamline processes.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • A sound understanding of construction methods, market conditions, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to produce polished submission documents.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team while taking initiative when working independently.
  • A proactive, down-to-earth, and professional approach to your work.

What’s in It for You:

  • Join a respected builder with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.
  • Permanent, full-time opportunity offering stability, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Work on diverse projects that shape local communities across North Queensland.
  • Access exclusive employee benefits, including travel, retail, and health discounts.
  • Be part of a company that values people, relationships, and craftsmanship, not red tape.
  • A supportive, inclusive, and community-driven workplace where your contribution is recognised.
  • Enjoy the Townsville lifestyle, affordable living, tropical weather, a close-knit community, and a strong regional economy driving continuous growth.
