Ready to Step Up as an Assistant Café Manager on the Gold Coast?


This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic hospitality professional ready to take the next step, supporting the Café Manager in leading a vibrant, fast-paced venue with strong local trade.


Our client has been a well-loved part of the Pacific Fair dining scene for 10 years, known for upbeat service, quality coffee, all-day dining, and a coastal-inspired atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.


With consistent foot traffic, long-term staff, and a supportive interstate head office, our client is now seeking a capable Assistant Café Manager to help drive operations, culture, and service excellence at their Broadbeach location.


This is a daytime-only role with consecutive days off, stable hours, and onsite parking, the ideal blend of lifestyle and leadership opportunity.


Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Supporting the Café Manager in leading, inspiring, and developing the team.
  • Assisting with daily operations including rostering, stock, ordering, and compliance.
  • Upholding high standards across service, food, and coffee quality.
  • Handling staff training, coaching, and performance support.
  • Maintaining smooth daily service during peak periods.
  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Monitoring KPIs, waste, cost control, and budget awareness.
  • Acting as the venue lead when senior leaders are offsite.


What You’ll Bring to the Role:


  • Experience in a fast-paced café or hospitality venue.
  • Strong coffee knowledge and a commitment to great service.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage operations.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • High levels of initiative, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Full working rights and ability to pass a police check.
