An established and successful manufacturing company based in West Central Edinburgh is seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join their hardworking and motivated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin 2025 with an exciting new challenge, working alongside an experienced finance team in a supportive, stable and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities as a Credit Control Administrator:

  • Monitor Customer Accounts: Oversee customer accounts to ensure timely payments, addressing delays or discrepancies efficiently.
  • Assess Creditworthiness: Conduct evaluations for new and existing customers to manage risks.
  • Set Limits: Establish and review customer credit limits based on risk assessments and payment history.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships, providing excellent service and resolving queries.
  • Policy Implementation: Uphold and enforce policies to reduce credit risk and ensure adherence to best practices.


Credit Control Administrator requirements and qualifications:

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of UK collection principles and regulations.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in credit control within a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous. Other sectors will be considered.
  • Financial Software Skills: Proficiency with tools such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Epicor).
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess financial data and make sound decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills for fostering positive customer relationships and dispute resolution.


Working hours:

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, totalling 36.5 hours per week.
