What You’ll Be Doing

·      Handle a caseload of Family Law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence cases.

·      Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.

·      Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.

·      Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.

·      Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

·      Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to provide comprehensive legal services to clients. 

What You Need for this Position

• Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of family law experience is preferred, but more experience is preferred.
• Can handle their caseload with independent decision-making and have some trial experience.
• Strong written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be self-motivated and organized.
• Excellent research skills.
• An existing book of business is a plus but not required.
