Maintenance Engineering Manager

What We’re Looking For:

As the Maintenance Engineering Manager, you'll lead the charge in ensuring their equipment stays in top shape through both preventative and corrective maintenance. Your role is crucial, providing technical expertise and leadership to keep our operations running smoothly.

What You Will Be Doing:

·     Schedule maintenance to boost plant equipment uptime.

·     Forecast Capex and plan system upgrades for long-term cost efficiency.

·     Manage Maintenance Management System activities and database.

·     Improve uptime by assessing manufacturing processes.

·     Research best machine solutions, considering operator feedback.

·     Establish processes to meet repair budgets and performance targets.

·     Develop manufacturing processes and equipment.

·     Enhance machine performance by analyzing downtimes.

·     Generate reports on setup times and downtimes.

·     Aid production in reducing scrap with machinery solutions.

·     Coordinate equipment downtime with production planning.

·     Strategize machine retrofits and provide maintenance training.

·     Collaborate with operators, managers, engineers, and vendors.

·     Plan and execute year-end plant shutdown maintenance.

 

What You Need For This Position:

·     Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical engineering.

·     Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in maintenance activities.

·     Working knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and process control.

·     CAD user experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

·     Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma theory and practices is preferred.

·     Skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)

·     Skills using MMS (maintenance Management System)

·     Strong written and oral communication skills
