This role as a Project Surveyor is hands-on, providing the opportunity to manage multiple projects, train and lead staff, as well as give all land survey documents and deliverables as needed.
What You Will Be Doing
· Create plans, cost estimates, and oversee projects
· Work directly with clients
· Make legal descriptions and maps for surveys
· Experience in Land Title Surveys
· Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, and records for field surveys
· Calculate measurements for construction and subdivisions
· Determine road and property boundaries
· Create budgets and proposals for clients
· Communicate project details and schedules to the team
· Conduct record research at courthouses
· Perform fieldwork as required
· Check and organize survey data
· Prepare for fieldwork and schedule it
What You Need for this Position
· Bachelor of Science or Associates of Science in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering
· Registered Surveyor-(PS)
· 7-10 years of experience within the space
· Experience with Civil 3D, Carlson, Micro station and Microsoft Office.
· Have a valid driver's license with a good record.
· Be skilled in technical writing and articulate technical concepts to all levels.
· Experience with RTK, GPS, Robotiocs total station, laser scanner, Trimble Acess Data Collectors and Trimble Business Center
· Be good at helping customers, working well in a team, and enjoying service-oriented work.
