WTR Search is looking for a Traveling Wind Technician to work for a leading renewable energy company. The role is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and repair of wind turbines. This is a full-time direct hire role that requires extensive travel on a 6-week rotation.

Qualified candidates will have experience in major component replacement, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, minor parts replacement, and inspection.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair wind turbines
• Participation in all wind turbine installation processes and service operations
• Taking care of tools and company equipment
• Handling all tasks according to the manuals and following the orders of the relevant manager
• Reporting and delivering all information according to the procedures

Requirements:

• At least 2-4 years of experience working in the field as a wind turbine technician.
• Communicative level of English
• Ability to work under difficult and inconvenient conditions
• Ability to travel 100% and be away from home
• Responsible and able to work in a team, as well as alone
• Reliability and a positive approach toward work and life
• High willingness to learn and develop
• Maintain a constant focus on quality & safety
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet and work suspended from heights
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
