Shape how the U.S. federal government runs on ServiceNow. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will build custom scoped applications that migrate legacy applications onto an enterprise ServiceNow platform and carry solutions from requirements through go live and the transition to operations.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a government technology contractor delivering ServiceNow solutions for a U.S. federal government customer. The team works closely with technical staff, project stakeholders, and customer subject matter experts to deliver ServiceNow capabilities that scale and last. This is a full time, hybrid role based in Tysons Corner, VA, with an immediate need.

• Build custom scoped applications that move legacy applications onto an enterprise ServiceNow platform.

• Partner with technical teams, project stakeholders, and customer SMEs on solutions built to be reusable and sustainable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist in solutioning and developing applications that use ServiceNow out of the box (OOTB) modules, with customization where needed to deliver the required business outcomes.
• Support the technical solution, development, and implementation of custom scoped applications that migrate legacy applications to an enterprise ServiceNow platform.
• Design and develop solutions across ServiceNow modules and features, including CSM, S2P, APO, Integration Hub, Flows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Asset Management, CMDB, AI Agents, and other modules as required.
• Configure and develop functionality using business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Flow Designer, and notifications.
• Deliver the products and services defined throughout the project lifecycle and resolve post production deficiencies.
• Manage ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, and go live support.
• Support requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, training, implementation, and go live activities.
• Make sure development follows ServiceNow design patterns and best practices and is reusable, reliable, and adaptive.
• Translate business and functional requirements into sustainable ServiceNow implementations.
• Use platform capabilities efficiently and effectively to achieve the desired business outcomes.
• Work with technical SMEs to identify and refine data requirements.
• Work closely with ServiceNow technical teams to convert requirements into design and migration activities, and provide guidance on doing so.
• Maintain and develop scoped applications.
• Support governance and operational transition activities.

WHAT YOU BRING

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10+ years of ServiceNow experience.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow design patterns, best practices, architecture, data model, and core concepts.
• Solid understanding of Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and production deployment.
• Proficiency with AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with government stakeholders and project teams.
