You Will:
- Lead the full C4ISR lifecycle, driving the research, design, development, and sustainment of mission-critical systems for Naval and Marine Corps initiatives.
- Apply advanced engineering methodologies to solve technical challenges ranging from individual electrical components to complex "system-of-systems" architectures.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications, ensuring all electrical designs and components align with operational needs and engineering best practices.
- Manage Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), including the preparation, execution, and adjudication of all technical inputs for the Program Management Office (PMO).
- Develop high-level technical documentation, create 2D drawings, comprehensive Technical Data Packages (TDPs), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Oversee platform integration and maintenance, managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and kits to ensure efficient installation of electrical equipment onboard vehicular platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate complex technical concepts through briefings and reports tailored for both peer engineers and senior leadership.
You Have:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Must possess DOD secret-level clearance or higher.
- Ability to work on-site in North Charleston, SC.
- BS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, testing, and supervising the integration of electrical and electronic equipment.
- 3+ years of technical experience specifically supporting vehicular platform integration.
- Familiarity with DoD/USMC C4I standards and engineering best practices for military vehicle electrical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating 2D drawings of components and multi-part assemblies.
- Understanding of circuit and cable design, including wiring diagrams and communication protocols like RS232/422 and CAN bus
- Familiarity with USMC technical publications and documentation standards, including Modification/Technical Instructions (MIs/TIs), Technical Manuals (TMs), SL-3 component lists, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
