TECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

New technology only matters if people actually use it. We are looking for a Technology Implementation Manager who can make new tools and processes stick inside a busy healthcare organization, working closely with clinical and operational teams and an experienced technology partner. If you are the person who builds the system that finally gets a team moving, keep reading.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is an Atlanta area healthcare services organization in the middle of a significant technology modernization. Leadership is fully committed to the effort, and the organization works alongside an external technology firm that handles platform, integration, and data work. This new role sits inside the organization and makes sure that investment turns into better daily work for clinicians and staff. This is a people and process role, not an engineering one. The technology partner handles all technical build and integration work.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS ROLE

  • Step into a newly created role with direct backing from executive leadership.
  • Shape how an entire organization adopts new technology, from AI tools to core business systems.
  • Create practical approaches that fit the way real teams work instead of following a script.
  • Work alongside a technology partner that already uses AI in its daily workflow.
  • Do meaningful work that makes the day easier for the clinicians and staff who care for patients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive adoption of new tools across the organization, keeping clinical and operational teams aligned and moving in the same direction.
  • Guide adoption of AI documentation tools and standard procedure scripts toward defined usage targets.
  • Support coordination of the organization wide rollout of a new clinical software platform.
  • Organize staff on project tasks and follow up items through a weekly meeting cadence, and see each item through to completion.
  • Serve as the first point of contact when an internal tool isn't working for someone, answering usage and process questions directly.
  • Write and maintain the standard procedures teams follow, run training sessions, and track tool usage.
  • Route issues to the right place, sending vendor bugs to the vendor and technical questions to the technology partner.
  • Manage the internal side of technology projects spanning payroll, HRIS, spend management, EMR, and phone systems.
  • Bring the technology partner into evaluations early, while systems are still under consideration, so integration and support are planned from the start.
  • Manage project sequencing and dependencies, and clearly communicate when work needs to wait on prerequisites.
  • Assign tasks and due dates to staff on project work and follow up directly, with escalation to the COO when needed.
  • Run the implementation, support, and training models defined by the technology partner within the organization.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience driving technology adoption, implementation, or organizational change.
  • Ability to forge relationships with field employees in a meaningful and consistent manner.
  • Strong change management instincts, including the ability to reengage people who were asked to adopt something before and didn't.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or a comparable iterative framework, with the ability to keep a team on track within a regular project cadence.
  • Practical, regular use of AI tools to get your own work done.
  • A curious, inventive approach to problem solving, with a history of building processes that fit the team in front of you.
  • Enough comfort with business and clinical software to support users and answer most usage questions.
  • The judgment to recognize when a question is technical and bring the right experts in early.
  • An understanding of how technology decisions affect daily operations, and the ability to pull the right people into evaluation, selection, and implementation.
  • Strong communication and follow through, with comfort holding colleagues accountable to deadlines.
  • Ability to work on site in Atlanta.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience in healthcare, home health, or another clinical environment.
  • Experience supporting HRIS, payroll, or EMR implementations.
  • Familiarity with AI medical scribe or clinical documentation tools.
  • Experience with spend management platforms.
  • Examples of trackers, templates, or processes you created yourself to organize a team.
