As a key component of the senior management team, the Platform Delivery Manager will report to the Directors, as well as contributing to the strategic planning and decision making of the business. The role will be primarily responsible, for implementing BIM and information delivery and associated digital construction procedures as well as Digital Twin for the whole asset lifecycle. The platform delivery manager will be the interface between designers, clients, contractors, and the supply chain. The US Platform Delivery Manager will implement a medium-term BIM strategy, focusing on the company's Platform Functionality, Use Cases, workflows, and product roadmap and aligned international BIM standards to include quarterly targets. 


Day to day Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Formulation and Implementation the Company’s BIM strategy and Digital information plans. 
  • Produce monthly reports for the Senior Management team, to identify and measure platform implementation and BIM delivery across customer sites. 
  • Lead BIM team meetings, identifying project tasks and co-ordinating issue resolution on Fexillon customer sites. 
  • Monitor advances in AEC and building related technologies. 
  • Raise the profile of Building Information Modelling within the Company. 
  • Contribute to the Fexillon Information Management strategy through the development of partner integrations on the platform i.e., XBIM, GS1 etc. 
  • Manage Customer Sites / publishing Building Information models from integrated Platform including Asset Information and views / schedules and asset information contained in design, construction, and as-built federated models. 
  • Develop documentation to support training members and end-users (BIM Managers) on the company's platform to publish models to the platform at the required stages of the Digital Plan of Work and to the required standard as set-out in the Contract Admin specification and the BEP / EIR 
  • Contribute to product roadmap definition in all areas relating to BIM co-ordination and management on the Fexillon platform and partner integrations including the customization of POWER BI to visualize and report compliance with Owners Contract administration and BIM related specifications. 
  • Advise owners and assist with the Definition and monitoring and application of Asset ID’s and tagging in BIM models utilizing the GS1 standard. 
  • Manage workflows from BIM to Digital Twin utilizing company's Technology pathway to Azure Digital Twins and enabling effective visualization of Assets for monitoring in the Twin environment. 
  • Define resource and organization plans to align with the BIM strategy. 
  • Participate in presales activities and presentation as well as representing the company at conferences, trade shows and speaking on the BIM process. 
  • On-boarding and training new hires in support of Customers & Projects 
  • Champion customer success and contribute to developing Standards for implementation and on-boarding and support of existing and new customers on the Platform. 
  • Train and up-skill colleagues in specific software programs. 
  • Contributing to Use Case development in the BIM management and Digital Twin deployment on the company's Platform 
  • Work closely with customer facing teams to comprehend and meet customer needs. 


Skills, Qualifications & Competencies 

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills combined with an ability to strategies and innovate. 
  • Minimum of a primary degree in Architecture, Construction, or a Built Environment discipline. 
  • 6 Years+ experience working in senior BIM Management roles. 
  • Experiences of Digital Twin solutions , implementation support and product development planning 
  • 6 Years+ experience in formulating BIM strategies in demanding digital environments for Management teams. 
  • Experience of Asset traceability and tagging from Construction to operations. 
  • An understanding of Digital Project Delivery and Building Handover control and management 
  • A detailed Knowledge of Building Information Modelling and CAD and CDE systems such as BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud suite, Viewpoint, Aconex, Procore etc. 
  • A technical working understanding of Industry standards such as ISO19650 , RIBA Digital Plan of Work, COBIE, BSRIA ,& ASHRAE 
  • Decision making ability in a fast-paced dynamic setting. 
  • Capability in providing BIM workshops and training in the relevant software’s to stakeholders, project teams, and interested parties.
