You Will:

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) and product owner for our clients Digital Banking Platform.
  • Analyze project issues and recommend corrective action with the least impact to the company.
  • Responsible for technical communications relating to core system software and its supporting software/hardware and company employees.
  • Responsible for installs, updates, and maintenance of any third-party software products that support the efficient and effective operation of applicable IT systems.
  • Implement projects as assigned by Operations Management or any member of the IT management team.
  • Test software programs and job processes to compare to specifications and documentation for projects; interpret test results and make necessary process revisions or enhancements.
  • Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries, identifying problems, recommending changes, and determining the extent of programming required
  • Establish standards and procedures for program testing, operations, and documentation
  • Research technical issues and implementation of solutions
  • Responsible for assisting with the implementation of the disaster recovery plan, disaster recovery testing, and reporting.
  • Resolve emergencies involving applicable system software and hardware as they relate to areas of responsibility
  • Respond to requests for technical and non–technical support including, but not limited to account research, application maintenance, and vendor escalation
  • Develop and configure products, screens, workflows, users, and security as applicable to a variety of systems and third-party applications.
  • Study existing systems to evaluate current business processes and develop new systems or processes to improve production or workflow
  • Research and evaluate new feature functionality available for applicable systems to determine implementation value
  • Analyze and implement credit union systems for optimal functional effectiveness and end-use efficiency in optimizing the use of technology
  • Design and develop test scripts and validation protocols.Coordinate and direct end-user testing of application enhancements or system upgrades
  • Participate in testing of application enhancements or system upgrades for accuracy and quality
  • Manage multiple relationships with external vendors for systems and third-party applications
  • Research, test, and deploy core software system version updates and patches
  • Assist appropriate vendors with other system-related updates.


You Have:

  • Possess a minimum of six years of experience as a system analyst or in an IT operational role managing Financial Industry (FI) systems/applications in a complex technical environment or similar or related experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience with digital/mobile banking, third-party products and related systems
  • Possess four years of experience troubleshooting problems with software applications including databases, operating systems, applications, network connectivity, etc.
  • Professional work experience and proficiency supporting/owning SaaS based Digital Banking Applications such as Alkami Technology, Q2 eBanking, NCR Digital Banking (formerly D3 Banking), Finastra, Temenos Infinity, Backbase, Mambu, nCino, etc.
  • Extensive experience providing ongoing technical support for FI software applications
  • Experience managing IT & Digital Banking projects within the FI space.
  • The ability to be available for after-hour assignments and emergencies, as necessary.
  • Strong professional judgment and decision-making capabilities and the ability to solve major, complex business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn independently from technical documentation.
  • Possess well-developed communication skills where discretion, accuracy, and clarity are essential.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Familiarity with financial core business systems within the Financial Industry Space such as Fiserv (DNA, Portico), Jack Nery & Associates (Symitar, SilverLake), FIS Global Horizon, Corelation Keystone, etc.
  • Strong level of comfort interfacing with and presenting information to stakeholders at every level within the organization.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid work setting based in Charleston, SC, where you would be in the office three days per week.
  • The ability to work for any US-based employer and complete a drug test, background, and credit check as a condition of employment.
