Our client is an industry-leading, Fortune 500, IT Services provider focused on modernizing IT, optimizing data architectures, and ensuring security and scalability across public, private, and hybrid clouds. They are looking for a creative, strategic, and results-oriented Social Media Content Copywriter who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. By developing and executing the social media content strategy and helping oversee the activation of our social media marketing efforts in Insurance Software and BPS (ISB), the successful candidate will be a social media expert, adept in applying the latest best practices in social media content creation, copywriting, and customer engagement.

You Will:

  • Partner with the Social Media Strategist to support the development and execution of social media strategies and content to enhance brand visibility, engage with our audiences, and drive ISB growth
  • Create, edit, and manage compelling content including graphics and videos for ISB social media platforms, including translating complex ideas into clear and concise copy
  • Stay informed of the latest social media-related trends and best practices
  • Maintain consistency in the brand's voice and tone across all content, ensuring alignment with the company’s values, messaging, and integrated strategy
  • Ensure all content is optimized for search engines to increase visibility and engagement
  • Advocate for new ideas and approaches in support of continuous improvement/innovation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to ensure necessary governance is in place to run social media programs and mitigate any undue reputational risk
  • Think creatively and translate those ideas into engaging pieces of digital content


You Have:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 4 – 5 years of experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role with a strong portfolio of social media content working in a B2B environment, preferably within a customer community or similar environment
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) and their best practices
  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity
  • Technical proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics), and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset


The icing on the Cake:

  • Concentration in Marketing, Communications, and/or New Media preferred
  • Strong customer-centricity and demonstrated ability to place the customer at the heart of everything
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience managing influencers/creators to develop engaging social media content
  • Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution
  • Proven ability to develop cohesive brand social strategies and recommend supporting tactics
  • Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages dynamically and compellingly (both externally to consumers and internally to key stakeholders)
