The Ocean & Air Freight Auditor is responsible for assisting the Head Auditor and Collections Manager with daily audits of international/domestic Ocean & Air shipping rates to ensure the accuracy of rates being changed, reducing overages, and recouping lost revenue.

You Will:

• Perform monthly Ocean & Air Freight audits for customers
• Act as an Assistant to the Head Auditor and Collections Manager

You Have:

• Proven proficiency using shipping rating software
• One or more years prior experience in the Ocean & Air Freight Auditing space 
• A strong understanding of  billing trends on Ocean & Air shipping bills
• Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented approach to dealing with conflicts
• 5 years of  experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Expertise using Microsoft Excel (i.e. formulas, macros, etc.) to analyze financial data
• A high degree of urgency around responding to all client emails in a timely and professional manner
• The ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a proficient and timely manner
• Strong multi-tasking, time management, and prioritization skills and the ability to be flexible
• Great oral/written communication and active listening skills
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work well with diverse personalities
• Strong ethics, a passion for growth, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with others.
