We are searching for a highly skilled MuleSoft Architect / Senior Developer to design, implement, and manage API-led integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MuleSoft architecture, API development, and integration solutions with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and other cloud/on-premise platforms. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on development skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions in GovCloud and hybrid MuleSoft environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design: Architect and design end-to-end MuleSoft-based integration solutions that meet business and technical requirements, ensuring compliance with GovCloud and federal security standards.
  • Integration Strategy: Define integration patterns, reusable components, and best practices for enterprise-wide API development across GovCloud, on-prem, and cloud platforms.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, SAML, and API Gateway policies, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, government agencies, and solution architects to understand integration needs and deliver robust solutions.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain technical documentation, create API specifications, and mentor junior developers in best practices for hybrid and GovCloud integrations.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Implement automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery in GovCloud environments.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MuleSoft applications for performance, scalability, and resilience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • MuleSoft Gov Cloud & Hybrid Deployment: Deploy and manage MuleSoft applications on GovCloud, and on-premise environments with a focus on hybrid integration.
  • API Development: Develop, test, and deploy APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (RAML, DataWeave, Mule Flows) within a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft development and integration architecture.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF), CloudHub, or on-prem deployments in hybrid cloud and GovCloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, microservices architecture, and event-driven integrations.
  • MuleSoft certifications (MuleSoft Certified Developer / MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) preferred.
  • Experience working with federal security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, API security, logging, and monitoring solutions in government-compliant environments.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake, ServiceNow, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government Cloud, and database integrations.
  • Strong expertise in Mule 4, Anypoint Platform, API Manager, and DataWeave.
  • The ability to complete a credit check and post-offer/pre-employment background check & drug test. 
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. for any employer, as sponsorship is not available for this role, since it is in support of the Federal Government.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in GovCloud, Federal security standards, or healthcare integrations is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and government cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive digital transformation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems.
