You Will:

  • Develop scripts and solutions to automate systems administration and maintenance, including proactive anomaly detection, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve issues spanning multiple applications and technologies that require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups.
  • Develop automated test cases and run automated tests, collect results, and generate reports
  • Apply systems engineering and IT expertise to design, monitor, and maintain DoD systems alongside Microsoft and multi-vendor enterprise products.
  • Prepare technical briefs to present to engineering review teams
  • Engineer and refine system architectures to maximize efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability while providing actionable recommendations for internal process improvements.
  • Perform first-level integration by installing test branches on physical lab hardware and validating that all installation documentation is executable.


You Have: 

  • U.S Citizenship 
  • Ability to obtain a DoD interim security clearance
  • Ability to work on-site in North Charleston
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification
  • 5+ years' experience in a systems engineer role, automating complex IT infrastructure
  • Expert-level PowerShell automation for system installation, configuration, security hardening, and maintenance
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Client Operating Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft enterprise products: Exchange, SQL, SharePoint
  • Ability to create and test virtualized environments (VMWare, OpenShift, Hyper-V, AWS)
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS and networking from a system design perspective
  • Working knowledge and experience with Agile framework and Scrum
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation and verbal briefings tailored for diverse audiences, ranging from end-users and peer engineers to executive leadership
