The Director of Digital Media Operations serves as the department head for the entire media operations team. The Director of Digital Media Ops is also responsible for deploying ad campaigns for clients (as well as for the agency itself) into the market on various digital platforms. This agency leader will also manage the production and accuracy of campaign performance reports and lead ad operations innovation and internal/external process improvements.


You Will:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Ad Ops professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Identify training and development needs, and implement initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive the success of digital media campaigns across various platforms.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks measuring campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end campaign management process, ensuring campaigns are executed flawlessly and on time.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify areas for optimization, and implement strategies to improve ROI and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and marketing, to ensure campaign integration and alignment.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with digital media vendors and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, conduct regular audits, and drive accountability to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital media professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement data-driven reporting frameworks to monitor and communicate digital media performance to stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize campaigns and improve overall digital media operations.
  • Present findings and results to executive leadership, articulating the impact of digital media initiatives on business objectives.


You Have:

  • Ten years or more years of experience in Ad Operations or Media Operations within an Agency setting
  • Proven work experience in digital media operations, with a focus on campaign management and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media platforms, ad tech solutions, and programmatic advertising.
  • Proficiency in digital media analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital media operations.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred) in sales, marketing, or any other related field.
