WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and maintain script, macro, and Scala-based programming routines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) customer payroll and HR data.
  • Operate automated processes for acquiring, transforming, and securely delivering customer private information with precision and care.
  • Navigate payroll, benefits, and HRIS platforms to acquire reports and research records from customer systems, including SAP, ADP, Oracle, UKG Ultipro, Dayforce, Ceridian, Workday, PlanSource, and Benefitfocus.
  • Manage and support payroll-based file feed processes, including weekly and scheduled transmissions of earnings, deductions, and contribution records.
  • Apply working knowledge of benefit-specific payroll nuances, including HSA, FSA, Group Term Life, Imputed Income, Proration, 401k Loans, and 401k Employer Match.
  • Research and resolve customer support issues quickly and thoroughly, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborate directly with customer payroll and information teams to provide analysis, correction, and resolution.
  • Maintain strict information security awareness in every customer interaction.
  • Visit the company headquarters once per year for strategic planning.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS platforms such as SAP, ADP, Oracle, UKG Ultipro, Dayforce, Ceridian, Workday, PlanSource, or Benefitfocus.
  • Strong understanding of payroll reporting structures and HR information system architectures.
  • ETL development experience, including scripting, macros, and Scala-based programming.
  • Working knowledge of benefit-specific payroll concepts, including HSA, FSA, Group Term Life, Imputed Income, and retirement plan contributions.
  • Experience with scheduled file feed processes for transmitting payroll and benefits data.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex data discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • A self-directed, detail-oriented work style and a genuine commitment to information security best practices.
  • Eligibility to work in the US for any employer (sponsorship is not available).
