Senior Business Development Manager - Luxury Fashion Marketplace

💰 USD 100,000 – 200,000 OTE (14-month salary structure)

We’re supporting a global luxury fashion marketplace that’s become a cultural touchpoint for Gen Z and fashion enthusiasts alike - a platform with 350M+ downloads, millions of active users, and unicorn backing from top global investors. It’s a high-velocity, tech-driven ecosystem where authenticity, exclusivity, and marketplace strategy meet. As the Senior Business Development Manager, your mission will be clear: own and scale strategic partnerships for luxury clothes, shoes (including sneakers), and bags - transforming supply strategy into measurable revenue growth and expanding category depth in the US market.


What You’ll Lead


This is a strategic, high-impact role where you will:


Build and Scale Brand and Seller Partnerships

  • Identify and secure high-value partners in luxury apparel, footwear, and bags
  • Engage authorized distributors and marketplace sellers
  • Negotiate and structure long-term, scalable commercial agreements

Drive Inventory Strategy and Marketplace Growth

  • Source authentic, high-demand inventory aligned with marketplace needs
  • Strengthen category supply within the category
  • Align supply strategy with performance and demand insights

Own Category Expansion and Revenue

  • Grow GMV through targeted partnerships and performance support
  • Expand coverage across approved luxury fashion categories

Collaborate Across Functions

  • Work closely with marketing, product, operations, finance, and analytics
  • Guide execution in a fast-paced, data-informed environment

Lead and Mentor

  • Support and mentor junior BD team members
  • Provide strategic direction and coaching


Who You Are


You’ll be a strong match if you have:

  • Proven business development or partnership experience inside e-commerce or resale marketplaces
  • Direct experience with luxury apparel, sneakers/footwear, and/or bag brands/sellers
  • A strong network within these fashion categories
  • A track record of driving GMV, category expansion, and commercial growth
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort structuring complex agreements
  • Leadership experience mentoring or guiding teams
  • A data-driven mindset and strategic decision-making capability

You’ll join a collaborative US growth team working with analysts, product leaders, operations specialists, and cross-functional partners - all laser-focused on scaling the company’s presence and impact across clothes, sneakers, and bags.


Compensation & Hiring Process


  • đź’° Competitive OTE: USD 100,000 – 200,000 (14-month salary structure)
  • 📍 Onsite in NYC or LA

Interviews:

  1. First round with the US Head of Business Development
  2. Final round with Global CEO and HRBP
