SAU
Apply for this job

Our client is building out its footprint in Saudi Arabia and is looking for a sharp, dependable, and highly professional Project Manager to serve as the company’s main local representative in the Kingdom. This is a front-facing position for someone who understands how to operate with discipline, communicate with credibility, and keep complex regulatory and operational work moving with consistency and calm.

If you are someone who can bridge global headquarters, local banking partners, and Saudi regulatory stakeholders with structure, follow-through, and integrity, this could be a strong next step.

About the role

As the Project Manager for Saudi Arabia, you will be the key point of contact for local operations and the person ensuring that the company’s Saudi work progresses in a clear, timely, and professional way.

You will manage communication with SAMA, local banking partners, and relevant stakeholders, while coordinating internal teams to make sure all regulatory feedback, documentation requests, and remediation items are handled properly and on time. You will also oversee the day-to-day management of the local entity and help ensure that the company’s presence in Saudi Arabia is handled with the right level of care, credibility, and discipline.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the main local point of contact for Saudi Arabia operations
  • Manage ongoing communication with SAMA and local banking partners
  • Follow up on regulatory queries, feedback, documentation requests, and remediation items
  • Coordinate internally to ensure timely responses and smooth execution
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the local Saudi entity
  • Represent the company externally in a professional and trusted manner
  • Help keep projects, stakeholder communication, and compliance-related work on track
  • Support the company’s broader expansion into the Middle East market

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who brings a strong mix of operational discipline, communication strength, and regulatory awareness.

You should have:

  • Experience in banking, payment institutions, fintech, regulatory, or compliance-related roles
  • Strong external communication and internal coordination skills
  • Familiarity with the Saudi business environment and how to engage with government or regulatory stakeholders
  • A legal background is preferred, but not essential if you bring the right experience and judgment
  • A strong sense of professional integrity, ownership, and accountability
  • The ability to work independently and represent a company confidently at a senior level
  • Excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines

You will likely thrive in this role if you are:

  • Rigorous, punctual, and highly dependable
  • Comfortable working in complex or regulated environments
  • Calm under pressure and able to keep things moving
  • Clear in your communication and serious about commitments
  • Someone who takes reputation, professionalism, and trust very seriously

Why this role may appeal to you

This is a strong opportunity for a capable professional who wants more than just a title.

You will be joining a company that is scaling its Middle East presence and needs someone who can help build structure on the ground in Saudi Arabia. The role offers real visibility, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to become a trusted bridge between international leadership and local stakeholders.

For the right person, this could also grow into something bigger. As the business expands across the region, this position may evolve into a Regional Director role covering the GCC, with the possibility of building and leading a local team over time.

Reporting line and team setup

You will be the sole local representative in Saudi Arabia and will report directly to headquarters. This means you will need to be self-driven, organized, and confident operating with a high level of autonomy. You will be the connector between the global team and local Saudi stakeholders, so this is an ideal role for someone who knows how to balance independence with collaboration.

Recruitment Process

You can expect the following steps:

  1. Initial HR interview – 30 minutes
  2. Interview with the Hiring Manager (CEO / COO) – 45 minutes
  3. Case study or scenario discussion focused on regulatory compliance
  4. Offer stage

Your next steps

If this sounds like the kind of role where you can make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.

Please reach out to our team or apply with your CV if you meet the requirements and are interested in a high-ownership role in Saudi Arabia with regional growth potential.
