Apply for this job

You’ve built models. Now it’s time to build impact at scale, on systems that matter.

We’re partnering with a fast-evolving organization that’s transforming how data science is leveraged across the real estate and construction value chain in the Middle East. They’re investing deeply in analytics, automation, and predictive modeling to tackle industry-specific challenges head-on — and now, they’re on the lookout for a Data Scientist who can lead this next frontier of applied intelligence.

If you live for patterns, speak fluent Python, and have a mind that marries models with business strategy, read on.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and deploy end-to-end data science products: Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of scalable data science solutions that address complex business problems in construction and real estate operations.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models: Build models for project scheduling, cost forecasting, resource and material demand planning, equipment utilization, and workforce allocation using advanced ML techniques.
  • Perform deep data analysis and visualization: Clean, preprocess, and transform large-scale datasets. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends, and create clear visualizations that drive decision-making.
  • Build NLP pipelines and automate document workflows: Use NLP techniques to automate commercial contract analysis, generate bid proposals, and run compliance checks. Implement algorithms that extract and summarize key insights from unstructured documents, with tools like Langchain and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Translate data into business value: Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including procurement, finance, operations, and legal — to understand needs and deliver models and insights that directly support business goals.
  • Deploy machine learning models at scale: Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to build, test, and deploy ML pipelines. Integrate models into operational systems for continuous improvement and monitoring.
  • Experiment, iterate, and innovate: Stay current with new methods, frameworks, and tools in AI/ML. Rapidly prototype and validate new approaches, and drive innovation within the organization’s analytics function.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in AI, data science, or advanced analytics, ideally with exposure to the real estate, construction, or contracting industry.
  • Proven track record applying data science to project lifecycle management, procurement, safety monitoring, and market analysis.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Proficient in Python and R for data manipulation, modeling, and scripting.
  • Solid experience with data cleaning, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and transformation techniques.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with structured data systems.
  • Deep understanding of regression, classification, clustering, ensemble methods (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost), Neural Networks, and model evaluation.
  • Skilled in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
  • Experience building NLP solutions for document summarization, extraction, and contract analysis. Familiarity with Langchain, RAG, and LLM integrations.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for model deployment and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing — including KNN, LASSO/RIDGE regularization, T/Z/Chi-Square/F tests.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in AI, ML, or GenAI tools are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into business-friendly insights.
  • A collaborative mindset with a self-driven, solution-oriented approach.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Industry Impact: Apply advanced analytics to real-world problems — from cost forecasting to safety monitoring — in a high-impact sector.
  • Ownership and Autonomy: Take the reins on end-to-end data products — your fingerprints will be all over the models you build and deploy.
  • Cutting-Edge Environment: Think custom LLMs, NLP pipelines, and ML-powered forecasting tools. This isn’t a job for someone who just wants to run dashboards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, engineers, contract experts, and leadership teams to turn insights into action.

What’s in It for You

  • A chance to design and drive data products that directly shape operations and strategy.
  • Work on projects with tangible business and societal impact.
  • Join a high-caliber, cross-disciplinary team invested in doing things the right way.
  • Competitive compensation package and a platform for continued growth.
