NLP Logix is recruiting for a HR Specialist to join its growing team of IT and Business professionals. This position is for a full-time employee, will be based out of Jacksonville, FL and will require less than 5% travel.


NLP Logix is a Data Science product and services company based in Jacksonville, FL, that specializes in AI Solution Development, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics for a variety of use cases, industries, and customers across the United States.


We are seeking a dynamic and organized HR Specialist with Office Manager responsibilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various human resources functions while also managing the daily operations of our office environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Functions

  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits.
  • Facilitate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Office Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
  • Coordinate office events and meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and catering arrangements.
  • Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, building management, and other external stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to promote a productive and positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address any potential hazards or concerns.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience working in human resources roles, with knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Previous experience in office management or administrative roles is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
