NLP Logix is recruiting for an DevOps Engineer to join its growing team of IT and Business professionals. This position is for a full-time employee, and will be based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The DevOps Engineer will work under the general direction of the Chief Technology Officer and is primarily responsible for deploying product updates, implementing monitoring for solutions deployed to Azure and AWS, and building continuous integration and deployment scripts for a variety of solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with .NET, Python and/or JavaScript, and will work closely with engineering and architects to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.

Essential functions and responsibilities: 

• Responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline and documentation
• Assess the current deployment process to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions towards a continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD)
• Ability to document key processes in Confluence and Jira
• Helps develop long-term CI/CD plans and architectures taking into account trends in the field and changing organizational needs
• This position will be fully responsible for our platform and application pipelines, and the flow of code updates through the engineering group, as well as creating and monitoring highly available cloud infrastructure and platforms to host that code
• Responsibilities will include cloud architecture and infrastructure, build tooling and dev-ops systems and processes

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of experience working as a DevOps engineer in a commercial SaaS product business.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Workflows
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM, Terraform
• Experience planning and managing multiple deliverables in a highly energized and fast-paced environment
• Monitoring automation; make sure that the correct monitors are deployed at the application level so that any failures can be quickly detected and repaired
• Ability to provide guidance, mentoring, day-to-day support to lower-level personnel, and conduct training
