Release Manager
NLP Logix is recruiting for a Release Manager to join its growing team of IT and Business professionals. This position is for a full-time employee, will be based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The primary responsibility of the Release Manager is to oversee the entire software release management lifecycle, ensuring that releases are planned, executed, and monitored effectively. The Release Manager will act as the central point of communication and decision-making, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Key Responsibilities
Communication and Collaboration:
- Effective Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders, including Product Owners, Project Managers, Development Teams, QA Teams, Performance Teams, and Client Operations Teams.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, and issues throughout the release process.

Clear and Concise Communication: Deliver clear and concise information through written and verbal channels, including release notes, meeting updates, and status reports.
Release Planning and Execution:
- Scope Definition: Define the scope of each release in collaboration with stakeholders, including features, bug fixes, and known issues.

Timeline Development: Create detailed release timelines, including key milestones and risk management plans.
- Deployment Details: Ensure accurate and timely communication of deployment details internally and externally.
- Approvals: Obtain necessary approvals from both internal and external stakeholders.

Change Management: Manage changes to the release plan, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and approval.
Testing Oversight:
- Quality Assurance: Ensure defects are properly documented and addressed.
- Performance Testing: Coordinate performance testing and address any identified issues.

User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate with clients for UAT approval and address client feedback.
Release Approval and Deployment:
- Client Approval: Provide detailed release notes and obtain client approval before deployment.
- Stakeholder Sign-Off: Ensure all internal stakeholders have approved the release.
- Deployment Coordination: Work with the Development Lead to deploy the new code to production servers.

Post-Release Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the release in production and address any issues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Process Review: Regularly review and improve the release management process.

Stakeholder Feedback: Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine the release process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, software development, or release management.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in release management tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Jira).
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
